AMMERSE Terminology Map

The world is abuzz with terminology. These terms may come from marketing, mental models, frameworks, theories or metaphors, but they slowly work themselves into the working lives of all of us.

AMMERSE is concerned with values, the forces, the behaviours and actions of things we do, and therefore it makes sense to attempt to see terms with the AMMERSE lense.

Vocabulary

Values

What drives you, what you find valuable. Personal values are deeply held beliefs that affect our behaviors and decisions. They include principles like honesty, respect and loyalty. These values influence our perceptions, biases, attitudes, and actions, helping us set priorities and direction. Alignment with our personal values leads to a more authentic and fulfilling life. As an organisation, the same applies.

The following is meant to be thought provoking, rather than prescriptive of definitions. Use the following as a means of starting your own reasoning and discussions of values and the relationship they have with these terms.
